Haa Summer Festival Tour
Explore Bhutan's most-visited valley at its most festive — the Haa Summer Festival celebrates nomadic culture, archery, and traditional games.
Overview
About This Tour
The Haa Summer Festival is a government-sponsored celebration of Haa Valley's unique nomadic culture, held annually in July. Expect yak hair tent exhibitions, traditional nomadic food, archery competitions, folk songs, and demonstrations of a lifestyle that is vanishing across the Himalayas. The festival is set in the spectacular Haa Valley — opened to tourists only in 2002 — and provides a relaxed, accessible introduction to Bhutan's least-visited region.
