About This Tour
The Jomolhari Trek is arguably the most dramatic trek in Bhutan, leading to the base of Mt. Jomolhari (7,314m), sacred to both Bhutanese and Tibetans. The route follows the Paro Chhu river valley through traditional villages, high alpine meadows, yak pastures, and offers stunning close-up views of Jomolhari and Jichu Drake. At Jangothang base camp, you'll wake surrounded by a fortress of Himalayan giants. Wildlife opportunities include blue sheep, Himalayan wolf, and the rare snow leopard.
